SCV

Our high-modulus/high-strain graphite. The ultimate in high performance. Delivers greater strength without sacrificing fishing performance. Results in fast, quick-loading rods that cast with unbelievable ease and accuracy. Combined with our 100% carbon-matte scrim to create blanks with weights up to 20% lighter than comparative models. Featured in our breakthrough Legend Elite® fly, spinning and casting rods.

SCIV

An extraordinary high-performance, high-modulus graphite. Produces extremely lightweight rods with crisp, fast actions and an incredible transfer of power. Also very sensitive. Look for it in our Legend Ultra® fly, Legend Tournament® Bass, Walleye and Musky rods and the new Legend® Inshore rods.

SCIII

An advanced high-modulus, high-strain rate graphite that delivers maximum durability and sensitivity. Not as high-modulus as SCIV, but creates rods with a smooth, light feel in the hand. Superb power. Look for it in our Avid Series® rods.

SCII

Powerful, durable mid-modulus graphite. Light. Sensitive. Creates rods with exceptional “feel.” Outstanding performance vs. price. Look for it in our Premier,® Wild River,® Tidemaster,® Triumph® and Reign™ rods.

SCIIW

We took our reliable SCII graphite and created a woven layout. The result is a blank with superior hoop strength and incredibly high impact resistance. Used exclusively in our Premier® Saltwater, Avid Series® Surf and Premier® Surf rods.

SCI

Our own specialized linear fiberglass matrix. Stronger, lighter and higher in modulus than ordinary fiberglass. Produces a softer action than graphite that is ideal for trolling and fishing fast-reaction baits such as crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Featured in our Premier® Saltwater and Premier® Glass rods.

Solid Carbon Ice Blanks

Our solid carbon fiber blanks are sensitive and strong. These blanks are made with carbon fiber instead of a low-cost fiberglass. The blanks are ground to create their unique actions.
