Schiffelbein-Knudson win Kansas Best of Bass Team Trail tournament at Big Hill
June 13th, Big Hill Lake - 14 teams made the trip to Big Hill lake and Chris Schiffelbein of Tecumseh, Ks and Kevin Knudson of Topeka, Ks finish in front of the rest. Bringing 13.05 pounds on four fish to the scales they finish first and with a 4.05 Big Bass they take home $815. They also take home 2 custom painted DD22's with 1st place and our logo and 1 with Big Bass.
Coming in 2nd with 10.50 pounds on 4 fish was Wayne Wittman of Topeka, Ks and John Walker of McFarland, Ks. They take home $450 dollars. Wayne is sponsored by Tightwad Bait and Tackle. John is sponsored by America's Express Co., Tightwad Bait and Tackle, and Tightlines Lure Co.
Finishing 3rd with 10.03 pounds on 4 fish was Chuck Gardner of Emporia, Ks and Don Hatch of Americus, Ks. They took home $225 dollars for their efforts.
With a 3.91 pound largemouth, Shawn and Justin Saathoff of Lawrence, Ks take home $50 for 2nd Big Bass.
