from Arrowhead Ranch, Zapata shot the new lake record alligator
gar weighing 213 lbs on April 21, 2004 in the Veleno Arm of Falcon.
He was accompanied by Lupe Gutierrez. The record gar has been
submitted to Texas Parks and Wildlife for certification. George
