Do you fish
with them or save them?
We
stumbled across a limited number of these Flying Lure Crank N'
Rattler Hard Bait Kits a while back.
We nor any of our customers
had ever seen them advertised like the orginal soft plastic Flying
Lures. They looked interesting so we decided to take a gamble
and buy some. Our thinking was that they would be a good item
for a collector as well as lures to fish with.
The smaller bait you can
see in the picture above is called the Flutter Crank while
the larger one is called the Flying Rattler.
We asked one of our customers
to take a kit with him and use the lures and test them in a tournament
he had coming up. He used the Flutter Lure and caught a
nice size bass on the lure. He tried the larger Flying Rattler
also, but in the short period of time he used it, he didn't have
any luck, but he thought it would work alright for him when he
had more time to give it a fair try.
According to the information
on the package, the Flutter Crank is the world's first
crankbait with a built-in dual action. It can change direction
from retrieve to an unaided wiggle during free fall on a single
cast. By simply dropping your rod tip during retrieve, the Flutter
Crank begins to wiggle and dance on its own while swimming
to the bottom...an incredible strike trigger!
Well known angler Tom Mann
is the co-inventor of the Flying Rattler. It's billed as the
world's first Flying Lure hard plug...works just like the Flying
Lure. It has a photo finish developed by Tom Mann, a real photo
of a live fish. It also has a loud rattle built in for maximum
sound on glide and retrieve. It can be used in freshwater and
saltwater.
