the artist
Gary Cooper
is a nationally know woodcaver that enjoys carving reproductions
of antique working duck and fish decoys like the old masters.
He has won numerous honors and awards.
His stringers
of fish and reproductions of antique duck and fish decoys are
in private and public collections across all 50 states and in
many foreign countries. Gary was one of only four artists selected
to represent Kansas at the receint New York International Gift
Fair. The Museum of American Folk Art, New York, NY now carries
his art.
Cooper's
attention to detail make these some of the finest folkart in
the country. Don't get these confused with cheap imataions made
overseas. These are handcrafted by the artist one at a time with
loving care.
